Letter of Iran's apolitical religious leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Hossein Kazemeini Boroujerdi

To respected chancellor of Germany, MS Angela Merkel:
With the presentation of hello ever esteem

The history of despotic governments is full of ever reports of suppression, discrimination, felony and corruption. Phroon and Namroud excuse was their felling of domination and superiority that knew themselves as God of all over the world and Hitler set the world on fire in excuse for racial priority and today we see similar movement in Iran land that has been revealed in phony claimer on behalf of God and delegation of prophets. Yes, unfortunately mixing religion with policy has set some implements for governors who are claimers of religiosity and commit horrible kinds of crimes, internal suppressions and international adventuresome ness just in excuse for carrying out God's orders. They have times declared that they know it as their duty to make world digest in their thoughts with reliance on the feeling of religious priority and also imagine international expansionism as their divine and Godly vocation!

Excellency Merkel;
Although I am from a grand shi'a cleric and have largest religious and independent crowd in Iran, have been under different kinds of troubles and put in prison because of public protests against above items and furthermore effective efforts separation religion from policy, faith in freedom of speech and belief, submission of peaceful and pacific ideas in Islam and now I am under torture and permanent menace of killing.

Appearance of "Human Holocaust" will not be impossible from governors who do not feel sorry for their compatriots and coreligionists because they know people as daily and worthless victims who set them to the highest rank in history 28 years ago and donated " the primacy of the top spiritual leader" ( Velayat-e Motlaqeh), and " imamate" to them. They have set their forums behind of "Nation" trench and put forward their offending projects constantly as Iran nation will and oppress every kind of criticism and protest. If the position and stand of nation who are their real hosts is so, could it be imagined what and how the position of foreigners is in their minds?! Of course, top international men will not be acquitted of being in collusion with brutal men and connive with cruel governments for ignoring Iranian people demand voice and their names will be written in diplomatic pages of calendar as agents of religious colonialism and colleagues of religious arrogance.
O'you excellent lady, o'you the victor of peace and liberal-mindedness;
You are one of the most important leaders and Europe Union pillars and your kind and Aryan nation has seen similar days during Hitler government and you comprehend our horrible situation "religious Hitlerism" better, therefore I request showing public sprit and concern to Iranian people from you and want and move international and effective men and organizations to save oppressed, injured and deprived Iran nation before losing opportunities.

با تقديم سلام و بهترين آرزوها

تاریخ حکومتهای مستبد مملو از گزارشات جاودانه‌ای از تبعیضها و سرکوبها و جنایات و مفاسد است، بهانه‌ی فرعون و نمرود حس برتری خویش بود که خود را خدای جهان می‌دانستند و هيتلر، به بهانه‌ي برتري نژادي دنيا را به آتش كشيد و امروز شاهد تحركات مشابهي در سرزمين ايران هستيم كه در مدعيان جعلي نيابت خداوند و وكالت پيامبران تجلي يافته است.

آري، متاسفانه دخالت دادن دين در سياست ابزار‌هائي در اختيار حكام مدعي دينمداري قرار داده كه بالاترين نوع جنايات و سركوبهاي داخلي و ماجراجوئي‌هاي بين‌المللي را به بهانه‌ي اجراي دستورات خداوند مرتكب شوند، ايشان بارها اعلان كرده‌اند با تكيه بر حس برتري ديني و مذهبي، وظيفه خود مي‌دانند كه جهان را در تفكرات خود هضم كنند و توسعه‌طلبي‌هاي بين‌المللي را رسالتي خدائي و آسماني مي‌پندارند!

عاليجناب مركل،

با آنكه از سلسله‌ علماي بزرگ شيعه مي‌باشم و صاحب بزرگترين جمعيت مستقل مذهبي در ايران هستم ولي به خاطر اعتراضات علني به موارد فوق، همچنين تلاش مؤثر براي جدائي دين از سياست، اعتقاد به آزادي عقيده و بيان و طرح نظرات مسالمت‌آميز و صلح‌جويانه از اسلام، تحت انواع آزارها و زندانها بوده‌ام، و اكنون نيز زير شكنجه و در تهديد دائمي قتل به سر مي‌برم.

خانم صدر اعظم،

پيدايش "هولوكاست بشري" از سوي فرمانرواياني كه به هموطنان و هم‌مذهبان خود رحم نمي‌كنند ناممكن نخواهد بود زيرا ايشان مردمي را كه 28 سال قبل آنها را به بالاترين جايگاه در تاريخ آوردند و "ولايت مطلقه" و "امامت" به آنها بخشيدند را قربانيان روزمره و بي‌ارزش خود مي‌پندارند و تريبونهاي خود را پشت سنگر "ملت" بنا كرده‌اند و دائما پروژه‌هاي ملت‌سوز خود را به عنوان خواست ملت ايران مطرح مي‌كنند و هر انتقاد و اعتراضي را سركوب مي‌كنند، اگر جايگاه ملت كه ميزبانان واقعي ايشان بوده‌اند چنين باشد آيا مي‌توان تصور كرد جايگاه بيگانگان در منظر اينها چگونه است؟! و يقينا شخصيت‌هاي برجسته‌ي بين‌المللي كه صداي مطالبات مردم ايران را ناديده مي‌گيرند و به تباني با چنين مستبديني مشغولند از محاكمات تاريخ به اتهام همدستي با ظالم، تبرئه نخواهند شد و نامشان در صفحات تقويم ديپلماتيك به عنوان دلالان استعمار ديني و همكاران استكبار مذهبي، ثبت خواهد شد.

اي بانوي ممتاز،

شما رهبر يكي از مهمترين ستونهاي اتحاديه‌ي اروپا هستيد و ملت مهربان و آريائي شما دوران مشابهي را در زمان هيتلر تجربه كرده‌اند و اوضاع اسفناك ما در دوران "هيتلريسم ديني" را بهتر از ديگران درك مي‌كنند، فلذا به شما عارض مي‌شويم كه خيرخواهي و دلسوزي خود نسبت به مردم ايران را ابلاغ كنيد و سازمانها و شخصيتهاي تاثيرگذار جهاني را براي نجات ملت مظلوم و مجروح و محروم ايران حركت دهيد، پيش از اتمام فرصتها.
