Ayatollah's letter to President George W Bush, president of United States of America:

Esteemed President George W Bush
The president of the United States of America
After endless greeting;
First and foremost, I thank you very much for your meaningful lecture in the Islamic Center of Washington over revealing the identity of the minority in Iran who know themselves as the candidate of God and owner of worldwide Moslems.
I appreciate your attention to my combatant and resistance against dictatorial orders of that group as well.
Dear Sir,
I do not know your knowledge of myself. I am one of family every one of which has been the religious reference of their period. They believed in the mixture of religion and politics as the way of religious dictatorship.
My protesting against religious dictatorship and aggressiveness, achieved welcome by the followers of other religions, nationalists and liberal groups and even laic ones upon my opinions or religious independent associations in a vast area, according to the remained documents.
Also, my repeated request for interview with the Iranian government to have been accused of wanting to govern while my all activities were completely oppose to this accusation.
To you, the hero of combatant against dictator governments, I am writing this letter in a situation closed in the chain and clock of the religious dictatorship and so under continuous threaten of murder.
Some friends of mine have been killed and my family has been homeless. My followers who mostly are the victims of this recent 28 years are under diverse pressure all over the country.
My co-nations who are the property of one of the wealthiest country in the world suffer seriously from poverty, misery and insecurity, while they do not have the right to criticize, protest or request their necessities.
You, the first opponent person against terrorism, have told very often that you esteem all religions and beliefs but the Mullahs of 1357 phonetic revolution of Iran try to represent America and western countries as the machine of destroying Islam by assuming lots of money and censor and distortion the news.
I hope the expedients to be accomplished in such away that the "new worldwide ordination" and " new middle east" would be clear of the probable destroying of real Islam, parallel to combating against political Islamic radicals.
My cordial wishes are to be in a secure position in order to separate religion from politics upon my academic and scientific abilities and regarding the valid historical and current documents. And to separate God's and prophets' aspects from governors, pretending their advocating because I think theocratic and religious colonialism is much more dangerous than the economical or cultural one; terror and suicidal cases are good examples.
Unfortunately, the religious great devils from the crimes and treasons of highest level in the name of theological orders and pull the humanity to the border of destruction. Put the current history harmful to theology; and in this regard the founders and publishers of "Velayat-e Faqih" who gain something from exporting their contaminated belief products to the Islamic society under crisis, have the most part of destructive effects.
Dear Sir,
I know that the complaint of a shi'a director to the president of the United States of America would be accusable and abnormal upon many critics but, as you have said very often, the expenditure of being good evaluated in the future is not possible other that supporting these critics.
It is to be mentioned that I have asked Pope Benedict the Sixteenth, general secretary of United Nation organization, European Union and observer of the Human Right to help me but I did not receive any significant support.
Finally, I should remind you that the United States of America has no legal promise to Iranian people but as you are the director of an ultra power country in the world, this responsibility would give you another duty against deprived, injured and oppressed Iranian people.
Therefore, I ask you to reflect the voice of requesting liberty and anti oppressing of all Iranian to the world, and for the liberty of belief and thought and also for supporting me in taking the religion out of the hands of theological dealers who have sent the altruism and international peace to the place of discrimination, hate, terror and war; and order to be approved a contraction in the United Nation by applying international devices.

احتراما در ابتدا،‌ از سخنراني پرمحتواي حضرتعالي در مركز اسلامي واشنگتن در افشاي ماهيت اقليتي كه در ايران خود را نماينده‌ي خدا و ولي‌امر مسلمانان جهان مي‌دانند، تشكر مي‌نمايم، و همچنين از ابراز لطف به بيلان مبارزه و مقاومت اين حقير در برابر احكام استبدادي آن گروه، سپاسگزاري مي‌كنم.

عاليجناب، نمی‌دانم شناخت شما از اينجانب چه مقدار است، من از سلاله‌ي علمائي هستم كه هركدام جزء مراجع مذهبي عصر خويش بوده‌اند و تداخل دين و دولت را بستر پيدايش ديكتاتوري ديني مي‌دانستند.

اعتراضاتم نسبت به استبداد ديني و خشونت مذهبي، حسن‌ظن پيروان ديگر اديان و گروه‌هاي وطن‌پرست و آزاديخواه و حتي لائيك به مواضعم، برگزاري جلسات مذهبي‌ِ مستقل در سطح وسيع كه برطبق اسناد برجاي مانده همواره با استقبال توده‌هاي ملت ايران مواجه بوده، همچنين درخواستهاي مكررم براي مناظره با علماي معتقد به "ولايت فقيه" باعث گرديد تا به ناحق از سوي سران ايران، متهم به حكومت‌خواهي شوم و مورد كودتا قرار گيرم، در حالي كه حركتم در تضاد كامل با اين اتهام بوده است. اين نامه را در حالي مي‌نگارم كه در غل و زنجير استكبار ديني اسيرم و در تهديد دائمي قتل به سر مي‌برم و جمعي از يارانم به قتل رسيده‌اند و خانواده‌ام بي‌خانمان شده‌اند و علاقمندان و همفكرانم كه اكثرا زندگي‌باختگانِ 28 سال اخير هستند در اقصي‌نقاط ايران تحت انواع فشارها و محروميتها مي‌باشند و هم‌وطنانم كه صاحب يكي از محدود كشورهاي ثروتمند جهان هستند از فقر و فلاكت و ناامني، رنج بسيار مي‌برند و حق انتقاد و اعتراض و طرح مطالبات خود را ندارند.

اي پيشواي جنگ بر عليه تروريسم، شما بارها فرموده‌ايد كه به تمام اديان و عقائد احترام مي‌گذاريد، ولي ملاهاي مجري حفظ و گسترش انقلاب ارتجاعي سال 1357 ايران، با صرف هزينه‌هاي مالي و اعتباري كلان و با سانسور و تحريف اخبار، سعي مي‌كنند چهره‌ي امريكا و غرب را به عنوان ماشين تخريب اسلام و معنويت معرفي كنند، اميدوارم به موازات مبارزه با راديكال‌هاي اسلام سياسي، تمهيداتي اتخاذ شود تا پروژه‌ي "نظم نوين جهاني" و "خاور ميانه‌ي جديد"، از شائبه‌ي نابود كردن اسلام اصيل، تطهير شود.

آرزوي قلبي من آن است كه شرايطي فراهم آيد تا مصونيتي به دست آورم كه با تكيه بر توانائي‌هاي علمي و كلامي و با ارائه‌ي مدارك قطعي و با استناد به اوراق بهادار تاريخ سلف و تقويم جاري، بين دين و سياست جدائي افكنم و حساب خداوند و پيامبران را از حكام مدعي نيابت و وكالت ايشان بر زمين جدا كنم، چراكه معتقدم استعمار ديني و مذهبي، بسي خطرناكتر از نوع اقتصادي و فرهنگي آن مي‌باشد، كه بروز عملياتهاي انتحاري و تروريستي گسترده، برهان قاطع آن است. متاسفانه شياطين بزرگ ديني،‌ با ديكته كردن اوامر انحصارطلبانه‌ي خود به عنوان فرامين الهي، بالاترين نوع جنايتها و خيانتها را شكل مي‌دهند و بشريت را به مرز نابودي مي‌كشانند و نسلهاي جاري را به استحاله‌ي اعتقادي مي‌برند و تاريخ معاصر را به ضرر خداپرستي مي‌نگارند و در اين ميان، بنيانگذاران و مروجان "ولايت فقيه" كه توفيقاتي نيز در صادرات فرآورده‌هاي مسموم اعتقادي خود به ممالك بحران‌زده‌ي اسلامي به دست آورده‌اند بيشترين اثر تخريبي را داشته‌اند.

آقاي رئيس جمهور، مي‌دانم كه شكوائيه‌ي يك رهبر مذهبي شيعه، به رئيس جمهور ايالات متحده، يقينا به زعم خيلي از منتقدين، امري نامتعارف و اتهام‌برانگيز است، ولي همانطور كه خود بارها فرموده‌ايد، هزينه‌ي قضاوت نيك در آينده‌ي تاريخ، جز با تحمل منتقدين كم‌لطف، ميسر نخواهد بود، و متذكر مي‌شوم كه پيش از اين، از موقعيت پاپ اعظم و دبيركل سازمان ملل متحد و اتحاديه‌ي اروپا و ديده‌بان حقوق بشر، كمك خواستم ولي حمايت عمده‌اي دريافت نشد.

در خاتمه يادآور مي‌شوم كه ايالات متحده امريكا، قانونا تعهدي نسبت به مردم ايران ندارد، ولي از آنجا كه شخص حضرتعالي، مسئوليت رهبري كشور ابرقدرت جهان را بر عهده دارند، اين رسالت درخشان و فراقاره‌اي، وظيفه‌اي در قبال انسانيت مظلوم و محروم و مجروح ايراني بر دوش آن شخصيت ممتاز، ايجاد مي‌كند، فلذا تمنا مي‌كنم صداي آزاديخواهي و ظلم‌ستيزي آحاد ملت ايران را انعكاس جهاني دهيد، و براي آزادي‌هاي فكري و اعتقادي و همچنين در جهت حمايت از اين حقير براي جدا كردن حربه‌ي دين، از دست سوداگران ديانت و تاجران معنويت، كه نوع‌دوستي و صلح بين‌المللي و مساوات جهاني را به قربانگاه تبعيض و نفرت و ترور و جنگ برده‌اند،‌ با به‌كارگيري اهرمهاي مؤثر بين‌المللي، قطعنامه‌اي در سازمان ملل متحد، به فوريت تصويب شود.
